Bee Real News

Hello and welcome to the brand new Bee Que Press! This site will undergo continuous improvements, so be sure to check back for the latest news and ever-evolving stories. I am migrating some of my content to this site. Yes, I’m aware of the earlier transitions between two different blog sites. While Threadsoftime.blog will always be my home, it’s time to evolve and embrace the new.

In my past, I used buzzwords carelessly. I have decided not to remove my old posts. They will stay visible. Although I am in my 40s, my mindset has often reflected that of my childhood. I continued to use language that suggested I possessed wisdom and knowledge. Now, my thoughts are scattered, and I find it challenging to focus. I have realized there are many choices available to me. Often, I choose not to engage in certain activities. I consciously decide against making phone calls to connect with loved ones and neglect the practice of mindfulness.

You might be wondering what on earth those buzzwords or phrases are. Honestly, I’m as lost as a cat in a dog park. I even approach things in a philosophical way. This basically means I sit around thinking deep thoughts. Then, I forget what I was thinking about in the first place!

I find myself sharing these thoughts and yet doing nothing to change my situation, thinking how insightful I am. But I wonder, am I truly wise or am I just willfully ignoring the changes I need to make because staying in my comfort zone feels more comforting? Please bear with me as I navigate these tangled feelings.

Dive into the captivating world of images marked as Bee Real, Bee Real News, and Beetastic Stories! As the seasons shift, so too will the photos, reflecting my vibrant experimentation with the year of the wheal. I sense there are a few missing gems among them, and I’m fervently playing with an array of colors. Imagine transforming the background or embracing a rich, warm color scheme that not only envelops you but also beckons you to explore!

For those affected severely by this winter storm, a candle is lit in solidarity; I hope you are staying safe and warm, only leaving your homes when absolutely necessary. The weather here in the Vegas Valley has been particularly cold, which is typical for this time of year. What is unusual, however, is the significant amount of rain we received during the winter season. While I was anticipating snowfall, we were met with rain instead; nonetheless, we must appreciate the necessity of that rainfall. The mountains have indeed experienced snowfall. The Lodge that was destroyed in a fire is now under reconstruction. I recently saw the new plans on the news, and I find myself disapproving of the new design; I miss the old structure, which possessed a more charming character. Additionally, it was a venue where one could dine with their pets.

I will undertake an experiment with Bee Real News. I aim to systematically document the events of my life. This will work much like a journal. I am prepared to navigate the unfolding circumstances and accept whatever challenges arise. Prioritizing analog writing over the use of AI appears to be the most prudent course of action. I do not feel overwhelmed by the myriad of choices. I do not lack motivation. Instead, I contend with a deficiency of focus. The multitude of options available is enticing, and I aspire to explore them all. However, the challenge is identifying which areas to focus on intensely. Hyper focus can become a double-edged sword if it’s not managed properly.

I speak from the depths of personal experience. My partner often struggles with my intense hyper-fixation on a single idea. He believes that one can schedule creative writing, which is partially true; yes, setting a specific day and time to write is beneficial. However, creativity is fickle, and it often strikes when least expected. Once I’m in the zone, it’s crucial not to interrupt that precious flow; it’s like capturing lightning in a bottle! I understand we all need to eat, sleep, and hydrate, but he can certainly cook for himself. Breaking that flow, especially at the beginning, is devastating; it vanishes, leaving an emptiness where inspiration used to thrive.

You sit down to write, and it often takes time to truly immerse yourself in the zone; this is precisely why many writers escape into the wilderness, craving solitude. Once you discover that sweet spot and lose yourself in the act of writing, the story that emerges may not initially make sense—it’s just your first draft, raw and unfiltered. Be sure to make copies of that initial draft as you edit; treat the original with care, keeping it pristine. I might be going off on a tangent here, but let me tell you: once the flow is established and you’re in the zone, it’s absolutely critical to shield that creative energy from interruptions. When others chatter incessantly, demanding your attention, it feels like they chose the worst possible moment to engage you, and a confrontation brews. All of a sudden, you find yourself in a grumpy mood, your work neglected, while you play the dutiful spouse to a partner preoccupied with their own pursuits. Does any of this resonate? Despite your repeated efforts to set boundaries, they revert to guilt, claiming you don’t pay attention or that you neglect household duties. These are responsibilities they could easily handle themselves!

They often highlight the mess left uncleaned, or the piece of trash that has yet to be disposed of. Furthermore, when I try to write, they turn on the television. They blast an action movie at full volume. The living room stays shrouded in darkness. It is disturbed by even the slightest illumination. Here I find myself expressing frustration over this situation.
